Family Fun Day

Saturday the weather in the upstate was gorgeous so we took advantage and had a Forced Family Fun Day! I wanted to get out enjoy the fresh air and let the babies play. We headed out to Falls Park (one of my favorite places) in our downtown and ventured out on a walk down the Swamp Rabbit Trail. This is a bike/walking trail that runs 17.5 miles from one end of the city to the other, there is talks of it going all the way to the SC/NC state line. We walked about two miles to a great playground where the twins could experience many new fun things. Be warned there are about to be lots of pictures and a sweet video at the end...

After a fun time at the playground we headed back to Falls Park and then decided to extend our walk to the children's garden just a few blocks up the road. This was a nice grassy area with some neat things for bigger kids to interact with. We just used this as a time to introduce Riggs to grass-Jackson was snoozing in the stroller at this point.

The weather was so nice that we continued on for a bit more and walked around downtown and visited a few shops. By the end we were exhausted from walking for about 3.5 hours. We had a great day as our little family of four enjoying our town!

Hoping the weather is just as nice this weekend so we can go on another fun family adventure!
