Girls Night Out

Sunday night some with some girls from church we headed to downtown Greenville for a Girl's Dinner. Our original plan was to head to the Lazy Goat however we learned on Saturday they are closed Sundays. We decided instead we would go to Smoke on the Water and still had a great time. The girls in this group are some of the college and young professionals that have been participating in a bible study. We are currently reading Captivating by Stasi Eldredge and her husband John. Is a great that all women should read.

First use of a Christmas present.

While at Costco this weekend I finally remembered to get a pineapple so I could use one of the great gifts Aaron gave me for Christmas. If you have ever tried to cut a pineapple you will agree it is no easy take-but one that it is worth it for the juicy sweetness that resides inside. Well Aaron noticed this frustration and got me a pineapple corer as one of my presents. We finally put it to the test this weekend and it came through with flying colors. Jonathan even drank the juice from the fruit!

75 Years!!

Friday was my Grandmothers 75th birthday!! Saturday we were able to celebrate with her siblings and a few of her friends with a birthday lunch. My parent's catered Olive Garden Lasagna and Chick-fil-a Sweet was all so yummy!
Here is the invitation I made for the event.
