So to put an end to our crazy weekend we went to the women's soccer
game on Sunday. Clemson began its program in 1994 under coach Tracey
Leone and her husband Ray. I had the extreme luck to play for them for 2
years and then at the end of my sophomore year they decided it was time
for a change in their life and moved to Arizona to continue coaching.
Tracey will always hold such a special place in my heart. She is what
made me want to be a tiger-so to say I was sad when they left is a bit
of an understatement. Well 10 years later Ray and Tracey have made it to Massachusetts where Ray is the coach for Harvard and Tracey for
Northeastern. Clemson was playing Northeastern on Sunday so we thought
what better that to get some of the Alumni back and honor Tracey for the
work she did to start the program. Before the game all of the Alumni
were announced and Tracey was presented with a picture of Historic Riggs
field. It was a sweet time to reminisce about our glory days!
The tigers were able to pull out a 2-1 victory that day-sorry Tracey!
